Let's experience the present moment. Let's taste it. Let's smell it. Let's listen to it. Let's see it. Eau de Vie is not a performance. Eau de Vie is a shared event. Two dancers and one musician research the rules of an event which is ceaselessly changing. The title Eau de Vie (literal translation from French “water of life”) is a metaphor of a moment which cannot be stopped – just like water, it drains away. Sense-attacking production changes into a reaction to what is going on here and now but its form is anchored in a clear structure – a ritual. The only certainty are the inspirations by Frida Kahlo, Japanese geishas, samurais and haiku. Eau de Vie is a journey. A journey via the others towards ourselves
and vice versa.

Choreographer, performer, teacher and Dancer of the Year 2012 Lucia Kašiarová (1981) graduated from dance conservatory in Banská Bystrica, dance education at VŠMU in Bratislava and then Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. As a performer and author she cooperates with many foreign creators (Julyen Hamilton, Milli Bitterli, Oleg Soulimenko) as well as Czech ones such as Vanda Hybnerová (Angel-y, 2013), Petra Tejnorová (Personal Anamnesis, 2009; EDGE, 2013) and Jaro Viňarský (Hit by a Flower, 2015). She is the founder of the festival of Slovak dance in Prague Hybaj ho! and since 2007 she has been the director of a creative space Studio ALTA in Holešovice, Prague, where other groups e.g. VerTeDance and ME-SA found their base as well as choreographer Peter Šavel (1984). This Slovakian dancer, choreographer and teacher graduated from VŠMU in Bratislava and then P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios). Four of his works were selected for the Aerowaves festival – One for you, two for me (2006), Much more than nothing (2012, in cooperation with ME-SA), Boys Who Like To Play With Dolls (2013 with Tereza Ondrová) and BAKKHEIA (2014). At present he lives and works in Brussels, since 2014 he has been the Artist in Residence at the Charleroi Danses, Choreographic Centre. The duo is completed with Tomáš Vtípil (1981), a popular composer of stage music who accompanied for example productions of Petra Tejnorová (EDGE, 2013), Miroslav Bambušek (Prometheus, 2016; The Works, 2017) or Jiří Honzírek (Čekání na konec světa, 2016). He will have a solo concert at the Flora Theatre
