After Terry Pratchett's Maskerade, the first part of the series of Pratchett's stage adaptations entitled “Century of the Fruitbat”, the spectators at Moravian Theatre Olomouc will get a glimpse of the fates of a bunch of Discworld characters living in the planet's capital, Ankh-Morpork. The second part of the series, Men at Arms, starts with a recruitment of fresh blood into the police force. The City Watch needs REAL MEN! So far, only a midget, a troll, a woman changing into a wolverine and Corporal Nobby Nobbs, a castaway from the human race for his multiple brutal mistreatments, have been enlisted. Meanwhile, the devil is closing in on the city,
a murderer is on the loose in town and there are other oddities taking place in the streets...

Michal Zetel was born in 1981 in Osoblaha, Czechoslovakia. After graduating from grammar school in Olomouc, he studied theatre direction at Brno's JAMU Academy between 1999–2004. In 2004, he cofounded the Tramtarie theatre company in Olomouc and then went on to work as an actor at HaDivadlo Brno. In autumn 2005, he founded the independent Buranteatr company in Brno where he currently works as art director. Today, he keeps cooperating with JAMU where he pursues his doctoral studies and teaches acting. In 2008, he directed the popular production of Terry Pratchett's Maskerade at Moravian Theatre Olomouc.
