How do we deal with our own desire for love? Our loneliness? Ourselves together with others or in lack of others? Tragicomical dance and theatre piece by Charlotta Öfverholm. On the other side of youth.

Charlotta Öfverholm is the artistic director of Compagnie Jus de la Vie. She is a graduate of UCLA in Film/TV/Video and from The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles and Alvin Ailey's American Dance Theatre, but started dancing in Sweden with Lia Schubert. She has worked as a dancer with numerous choreographers and companies in America and all around Europe. In New York she danced with Bill T. Jones (Arnie Zane Dance Company), Dwight Rhoden (Desmond Richardsons Complexions), Footprints Dance Company among others. Since moving back to Europe 1995 she has danced with Roberto Galván (Tanzcompagnie Giessen), Joseph Tmim (Toláda in Berlin), Ramon Oller (Metros in Barcelona), Robert Poole (Ballet Linz), Jan Kodet in Prague. In 1998–2000, Charlotta was a member of the London-based DV 8 Physical Theatre under the leadership of Lloyd Newson. She toured with The Happiest Day of My Life worldwide. She has had leading roles in creations like Hamlet in Shakespeare's Hamlet, Alice in Alice in Wonderland and Pirate Jenny in The Threepenny Opera. She also choreographs for film and TV.

Compagnie Jus de la Vie creates brutal, physical, funny and touching dance theatre. Performing in Sweden and touring internationally, it stands as a platform for dance and physical theatre in Stockholm and was started in 1995 by Charlotta Öfverholm. Besides Charlotta Öfverholm's choreographing, international renowned directors and choreographers are invited to create on the group. Among them, we have seen works by Jordi Cortes (DV8), Sean Curran (Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane, New York), Roberto Galván (Buenos Aires), Joseph Tmim (Batsheva, Tel Aviv), John-Paul Zaccarini (DV8, London), Ziv Frenkel (Kresnik, Kibbutz, Israel) and Guido Tuveri (Italy). The dancers in the project are carefully selected characters from Sweden and abroad.
