Petr Erbes & Boris Jedinák

The multi-talented theatre artists Petr Erbes (1991) and Boris Jedinák (1995) have been meeting artistically since their student years, when they were at the birth of an authorial collective of students and graduates of DAMU’s Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre – the independent group 8lidí, dedicated to the creation of unconventional projects combining elements of theatre, performance art, installation and happening. In their original productions, they often draw on real stories and events, emphasizing an open, even borderline production form that crosses genres and actively involves the audience.
As a creative tandem, they have worked as guests, among others, at Husa na provázku Theatre (Meeting of Plotters; Reality), Minor (Save Number 6), Prague City Theatres (Prodaná nevěsta v letech 1868 až 2020 / The Bartered Bride Between 1868 and 2020), Divadlo na cucky Olomouc (Vichřice v domě č. 11 / Windstorm in House No. 11), and the National Theatre, where they have recently staged the much-discussed Privatization.
Since the 2020/21 season, they have been members of the directing and dramaturgical team at Divadlo Na zábradlí. Together they also create board and card games (Palacky Games studio).

Last year’s Flora presented their acclaimed project Ad Matrem, which they staged in Olomouc with the Moravian Theatre’s opera company.
