8lidí is a group of directors, dramaturges and set designers, who got together thanks to studies at DAMU Academy in Prague. The independent creative group was officially formed in 2017, when the members decided to follow up on their previous collective work. The collective has long been exploring the possibilities of documentary and author’s theatre. Their work primarily involves interventions in public spaces that address current social issues, blurring the lines between theatre, performance, installation, and happening. Their completed projects include e.g. Natural Site Piazzeta, Masaryk is coming! or We Love Shooting. At the 2019 Flora Theatre festival, the collective brought the Press Paradox performance, a production exploring the topic of journalistic ethics. 

Permanent members are Petr Erbes, Emilie Formanová, Nina Jacques, Boris Jedinák, Anna Klimešová, Alice Kofláková, Karolína Kotrbová, Zuzana Sceranková, Vendula Tomšů and Viktorie Vášová.
