Temporary Collective is an acclaimed progressive ensemble exploring various forms, shapes, and spectra of contemporary body-based arts. It regularly collaborates with international artists who are also leading figures in their fields, be they choreographers, dancers, or dramaturges. During the pandemic, the company recognised the need to reevaluate its own working methods and radically reformulated its approach to production, collaborations, and travel, creating new workflows. In order to counter the pressure of constant production and productivity, and to explore more sustainable forms of creation and partnership, the creative team began returning to past projects, which led to the creation of the current consistently developed artistic project GEO LOCAL.
Temporary Collective consists of dancer Tereza Ondrová and theatre director Petra Tejnorová. In their creative dialogue, they explore themes such as upcycling, loss as transformation, and geographical storytelling – while also seeking moments of subtle humour and human sincerity. Temporary Collective regularly cooperates with Monica Gillette (dramaturge), Sodja Lotker (dramaturge and curator), Markéta Perroud (international development), Daniela Řeháková (production), Mariana Pecháčková (production & development), and Dominik Žižka and Marek Bartoš (video & photo documentation), among others.
