Jan Janča

Jan Janča (1993) is an actor and theater director. A native of Zlín, he studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. He expanded his studies at the CNSAD Conservatory in Paris and, in 2022, completed a semester-long internship at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. 
He collaborates with the Městské divadlo Zlín (Dávno, dávno již tomu), as well as with the Brno touring company Divadlo Scéna, the Zlín-based Divadlo Mandragora (Play Beckett), and Prague’s MeetFactory (Dies irae). As an actor, he has appeared, for example, in Peter Bebjak’s TV series Matematika zločinu(Mathematics of Crime) and Devadesátky (The Nineties), as well as in Dan Svátek’s film Zápisník alkoholičky (Her Drunken Diary).
