Programme section dedicated to Bergman

A programme line dedicated to Ingmar Bergman will form an independent part of the 23rd Flora Theatre Festival. Its motto for this year – CRIES AND WHISPERS – of course refers to one of his films.

Dejvické divadlo returns to the Flora Theatre Festival!

It has been 8 years already since the male section of the Dejvické Divadlo ensemble performed their production Dealer's Choice at the 15^th Flora Theatre Festival. We are happy to announce that the iconic ensemble is coming back to Olomouc! They will perform THE MURDER OF GONZAGO directed by Jiří Havelka actually twice!

The 23^rd Flora Theatre Festival begins already on 15 May with a proper “theatre high”. The 9 TAGE WACH (9 Days Awake) production of the Dresden theatre vividly depicts an authentic experience with a self-destructive drug addiction.

It is exactly a quarter of a year today to the beginning of the 23. Flora Theatre Festival. Rabih Mroué is a theatre director, performer and visual artists. His interdisciplinary works have been presented besides theatres also in various galleries and at prestigious festivals. His projects often reflect the conflicts in Lebanon where he comes from and the theme of media wars. He comes from Beirut and has lived in Berlin for the past 5 years. The interview was conducted by Dominika Široká, the editor of the festival Magazine and festival dramaturg.
