Ticket sale starts after the Easter holidays!

NEWS

Drama, dance and opera productions, performances and theatre installations are part of the genre-rich international offer of this year's Flora. The festival will feature over sixty events at ten venues in Olomouc. Ticket sale for the largest live art show in the Olomouc region starts on Tuesday 11 April at 12 noon! You can also choose from a wide range of accompanying programme…

In addition to the children's programme (thematically linked to the festival's motto Otherness) or the talk show Stand Up Down by Divadlo Aldente from Brno (in which professional theatre actors meet actors with Down syndrome), the audience can take part in almost twenty discussions. Flora will once again feature a number of musical productions – whether in the popular festival tent at the Konvikt courtyard, or at the Jazz Tibet Club, where Berlin's musical phenomenon, the amazing multi-instrumentalist who calls herself Kid Be Kid, will perform.

The 26th edition of Flora will be officially opened on Thursday 11 May by the Dušan D. Pařízek’s production Moscoviad based on a novel by Yuri Andrukhovych and performed by Divadlo X10 from Prague. An exclusive festival epilogue will be provided by the renowned German scene Thalia Theater Hamburg as part of its first guest appearance in Olomouc on 22 May. The production with the title Glorious People has transferred the plot of Sasha Marianna Salzmann's literary award-winning novel to the stage. The fate of the young journalist Edi and her Ukrainian family „against the backdrop of great history“ is sensitively reproduced by director Hakan Savaş Mican in collaboration with the renowned ensemble.

We remind you that the ticket sale starts right after Easter – on Tuesday 11 April at 12 noon. Don't miss it! You can buy or reserve tickets online or at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc box office.

Together with open-minded audience and creative guests, we are looking forward to twelve intensive and extraordinary days!
