This year's Flora will be culminating on Sunday 18 May with a co-production project that the Dutch creative collective Wunderbaum and the Jena theatre group Post Paradies prepared at the Theaterhaus Jena. Their production Die Hundekot-Attacke (The Dog Poop Attack) was voted the best German-language production of 2024 by the prestigious monthly magazine Theater heute!

The self-ironic original production of Die Hundekot-Attacke (The Dog Poop Attack) became a festival sensation in Germany last year. It was inspired by an incident in Hanover that was covered by virtually all German media. What was it about? A choreographer, frustrated by negative reviews, settled accounts with a critic in a very controversial way…

This clever minimalist satire was included among the ten most important productions at the prestigious Berliner Theatertreffen for the first time in the history of the Jena theatre and won numerous awards, including being voted the best German-language production of 2024 by the monthly magazine Theater heute. 

It will be performed on Sunday 18 May at 7pm at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc.
