In this digital age we form an immense net where virtual avatars live.
A new Kingdom of All Sorts is created. New earth.
Prins of Ne†works is a visual manifesto probing new ecologies that
blend the digital and the analogue as one. All artificial, digital or virtual is part
of nature. This piece materialises as an experiential capsule on stage for us
to visually meditate. During this research we will focus on cultivation of flies.
Flies as material, as electric and super advanced technological creatures.
Where Prins of Ne†works cultivates a natural environment, part two
of the diptych SHIELD)S will be the creation of a virtual world. The complete
work Ne†works premiered in September 2016.

After the prologue Olea takes a fluorescent tube into his hand and it
seems that the whole space of the (until then) dark room is full of fruit flies.
They are swarming around the light. With his choreography, Olea hypnotises
them. It evokes associations of our relation to technology and media:
we worship the phenomenon of the screen as a new world religion.

world of visual introspection, at various European festivals.
During the Working Title festival in Brussels in 2014 he met with Diego
Olea while preparing a performance []remoTe sense[]. Together they created
another research project Prins of Ne†works, which takes as a starting
point the decline of the classic understanding of physical ecosystem and
homelessness as the consequence of the digital era that we live in.
