After last year's success HaDivadlo brings The Philistines
Cries and whispers of the iconic text of Russian Realism drowning in the timelessness of the safe background of bourgeois interior design, atmospherically resonate in almost „film-like cuts“ by the artistic director of the ensamble from Brno – Ivan Buraj.

Petr wants to finish law school and find a job. Tatiana wants Nil to love her. Nil wants more justice in the world. Polia wants to go to the theatre. Iconic text of the Russian Realistic drama. Cosy interior from the turn of the 20th century as a symbol of the golden age of family. Polite people and a tea set. Life with clear boundaries between what's outside and what's inside. Job as protection of the boundaries. Conversation and costumes – boring interior. What's the time?
After last year's success with productions Eyolf and Macocha, HaDivadlo returns to the Flora Theatre Festival with The Philistines (Maloměšťáci) which will be performed on 22 May at 8 p.m at Moravské Divadlo venue.
