Before she appeared on the scene, it was almost unimaginable that someone without a looper would perform four instruments at the same time. A virtuoso combination of expressive soul singing, beatboxing, piano and synths in an exclusive performance by the phenomenal Berlin musician.

When trying to describe the music of the phenomenal Berlin-based artist who calls herself Kid Be Kid, all comparisons and superlatives fall short. As cliché as it sounds, she is truly unclassifiable. She mesmerizes her audience with her absolute commitment and incredible skills. Listening and watching her sing and beatbox, play piano and synths at the same time is simply breathtaking. She blurs genre boundaries with playfulness – there's jazzy piano, funky r&b grooves, sci-fi synth pads and electronic patterns. Then her expressive soul vocals arch over it all. Kid Be Kid is, in short, remarkable. She embodies looseness and vulnerability, sophistication and wildness, hip hop and jazz, and her music and presence seem to make everything around her come alive.
