Pohádka o tom, jaké to je, když má vlk hlad jako vlk. Komorní, avšak na divadelní obrazy bohatou inscenaci známých pohádek propojuje zdánlivě záporná postava Vlka, kterého neodbytný Hlad nutí hledat si potravu. Cestou narazí nejen na tři nezbedná kůzlátka, ale také na Karkulku s babičkou. To vše za sněhu a mrazu, za svitu hvězd a lampiček a navíc v česko-finském jazykovém provedení.
Loutkohra Vlk a hlad vznikla v rámci studijní stáže autora ve Finsku. Byla oceněna na mezinárodním festivalu v Mariboru 2014.
Jakub Folvarčný (*1978), básník, režisér a herec, absolvent KALD DAMU, je ve své tvorbě na volné noze rozkročen mezi performancemi pro dospělé (V pasti těla; Ušima podzimu) a divadlem pro děti (Cirkus Prdítko; Karlova a Jaromírova pohádka), v nichž vytrvale překračuje žánry i věkové rozdíly. Výrazný zjev české Slam Poetry (pseudonym Jakub Foll) i alternativní scény (mj. divadlo Alfred ve dvoře či D21) pro legendární Teatr Novogo Fronta vytvořil inscenaci v historii souboru vůbec prvně zaměřenou na dětské publikum – klaunérii Jungle joke (2014).

A fairy tale about what happens when a wolf gets hungry as a hunter. An intimate, however, visually rich production links famous fairy-tale stories by the seemingly bad character of the Wolf, who is forced by the burning Hunger to go hunt. Through his journey, he meets not only the three little naughty kids waiting for their Mom, but also Little Red Riding Hood and her Granny. Everything happens in the snow and cold, in the light of stars and lamps, and moreover, in a Czech-Finnish language option because the puppet show originated during the study visit of Jakub Folvarčný in Finland. It received awards at the international festival in Maribor in 2014.
Jakub Folvarčný (b. 1978) is a poet, director, actor, and graduate of the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In his work as a free-lance artist, he cuts through productions for adults (V pasti těla; Ušima podzimu) as well as child audiences (Cirkus Prdítko; Karlova a Jaromírova pohádka), were he persistently transcends the genres and age differences. He is a distinctive personality of the Czech Slam Poetry (stage name Jakub Foll) and the alternative scene (besides others Alfred ve dvoře or D21). For the legendary Teatr Novogo Fronta he created a unique production – a clownery Jungle joke (2014) – which, for the first time in the theatre’s history, focused on child audiences.
